Information about Beaumont Hospital Services

Upon leaving the hospital, you may have questions about what you are being charged for and how the services will appear on a billing statement. The Billing Office at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas is here to provide helpful answers and information.

Discharge & Billing

Your doctor will complete your discharge order on your chart. Either your doctor or your nurses will discuss your release with you. Do not hesitate to ask for assistance in gathering your belongings. When you are ready to leave, a member of the hospital staff or a volunteer will escort you to the front entrance and help you into your car.

After you leave the hospital, the Baptist Beaumont Hospital Business Office will bill your insurance(s). A notice or statement may come to your residence informing you of the progress the Business Office is making in obtaining payment from your insurance company or other payor. The Business Office has customer service representatives dedicated to assisting you to understand your bill or billing cycle. Please call 409.212.6141 if you have questions.
