Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas Foundation

Founded in 2009, the Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 organization that is led by an outstanding volunteer board of directors

Our Mission
The Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas Foundation will provide additional support and funding for Baptist Hospitals in order to facilitate the ongoing provision of high quality health services in a Christian environment through sacred work every day.

Making a Difference
Through the overwhelming generosity and involvement of our community, the Baptist Hospitals Foundation has quickly been established as a valuable resource for Baptist Beaumont and Baptist Orange Hospitals. Through fundraising events like La SoirĂ©e, the Cajun Classic  golf tournament, annual employee giving campaigns, among other activities, the Foundation supports many hospital programs and services. From the Children’s Unit to the Baptist Cancer Center, the Foundation is helping Baptist Hospitals build a healthier community, one patient at a time.

Foundation Projects
The Albert E. and Gena Reaud Guest House is a beautiful 19-room facility located at Baptist Beaumont Hospital. It opened in July of 2010. Funding for this $3 million dollar project was generously provided by The Beaumont Foundation of America, the Reaud Foundation, Rathgeber Investments and Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas.

The Foundation established a Family Room on the Oncology Unit. Through the generous support of Hadley’s Furniture, a previous storage room is being transformed into a beautiful, relaxing retreat for family members of cancer patients.

The Albert E. and Gena Reaud Children's Emergency Center opened in May 2013 with the support of the Foundation.  Partners that made this possible are the Ronald McDonald House Charities, MobilOil Fedneral Credit Union, and HEB Tournament of Champions. This 5-bed facility is enclosed off the larger emergency room department and keeps pediatric patients in a safe, nurturing environment.

The Foundation continues to support the Baptist Cancer Center with innovative upgrades in patient care and comfort. This first class facility provides our patients the ability to stay close to home, while receiving cutting edge treatment for all of their oncology needs.
