Veterans’ Detox

Veterans’ Detox Program in Beaumont

Helping Our Community Get Back to Living

We are grateful to those in our community who willingly risk their lives to preserve our way of life. Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas offers a veterans’ detox program in Beaumont to help treat those who have developed unhealthy dependencies during their time in the armed forces. While some of these issues can be related to mental illness which require different treatments, we offer substance abuse treatments that help these patients practice healthy living habits.

What We Treat

Our Behavioral Health department seeks to help veterans overcome dependence on substances such as alcohol, tobacco, and narcotics. These kinds of substances can cause harm to that person’s ability to regulate their moods, practice good behavior, participate in healthy relationships, and keep control over their finances. Whether the dependence is mildly excessive or life-threatening, we are here to help veterans find their way back to mental health.

How Can Treatment Help

With therapy options that can take place either privately or in a group, the detox program can help patients to improve outcomes with their existing health issues.

These issues can include:

  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Sleep disorders
  • Physical pain
  • Having healthy relationships
  • Mood disorders

Treatment Plans

While each patient will require a different approach to their recovery from substance abuse and dependence, our programs seek to help veterans feel encouraged about fully experiencing life again.

We help veterans to:

  • Identify their own triggers
  • Prevent relapse
  • Improve their relationships
  • Find outside support for their addictions
  • Work on their own mental health concerns
