Ribbon Cutting Ceremony opening the new Tower II

On Monday, October 17, 2011, at 11:30pm, Baptist Orange Hospital along with Mayor Pro-Tem, Jeff Holland, and the Greater Orange Chamber of Commerce, will perform a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony opening the new Tower II. The new half-million dollar expansion is located on the second floor of the existing campus at 610 Strickland Drive.

The new expansion will be an answer to the critical needs of our community. The 18 new private rooms located on the second floor of Tower II will all have telemetry monitoring which allows the nurses to monitor the vital signs of the patients on a continued basis while at their workstation. Each room will be divided into three sections with a space for the patient, their family and a designated area for the nurse caring for the patient.

“The addition of the 24 new rooms, 18 being private, is a result of community and physician needs. As our medical staff continues to grow and our population continues to age, this new unit will ensure that the highest quality of healthcare is available to the members of our community,” stated Jarren Garrett, Chief Administrative Officer. “The addition will meet our community’s needs, we are blessed to have been given an excellent opportunity to extend services to Southeast Texas.”
