First robotic surgery at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas has been completed. The surgery performed was an incarcerated incisional hernia repair with mesh by general surgeon, Iumy Torres-Barja, M.D and anesthesiologist, David Butten, M.D. All of our surgical team did great! We are very excited to now offer this innovative technology at our local hospital.
