The Heart and Vascular Program at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas offers comprehensive cardiovascular care and a variety of options
to screen for heart and valve disease. The Heart and Valve Center
provides initial consultation, diagnostic testing and follow-up for patients who suffer from conditions affecting heart valves, such as aortic stenosis. Our 64-slice CT scanner
can help physicians detect coronary artery disease while reducing patients' exposure to radiation. We also provide testing for peripheral arterial disease, a narrowing of blood vessels, which may lead to heart attack or stroke. Our noninvasive vascular laboratory has received a three-year accreditation
by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) to perform peripheral arterial testing.
