Cardiac rehabilitation is available to patients while in the hospital and after discharge on an outpatient basis. The Cardiac Rehab Program is coordinated by a registered nurse who has specialized training in cardiovascular health and rehabilitation. All phases of cardiac rehabilitation are provided in a safe and monitored environment under the direction of a licensed physician. This program is designed to assist cardiac patients in attaining optimal cardiovascular health and fitness. The program focuses oon patients who have experienced a heart attack, coronary artery bypass surgery or those with stable angina. Our program assists patients in reducing or modifying risk factors contributing to coronary artery disease while promoting improved self image, emotional well being and confidence through education and exercise. Our Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is flexible and adaptable to each individual’s needs and limitations. Through outpatient cardiac rehabilitation, individuals can experience an improved quality of life while reducing risks associated with cardiovascular disease.
