Senior Mental Health Program

Senior Mental Health Program in Beaumont

Providing Help for Advanced Life Concerns

Aging can present unique mental health needs and life challenges that older adults often find difficult to overcome. Our goal is to maintain and enhance the patient’s self-respect during every phase of treatment and to enhance quality of life by helping adults maximize their ability to function independently.

Individualized Treatment Options

Our experienced treatment team of professionals is led by a psychiatrist who is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Geriatric Psychiatry. The Geriatric Psychiatrist is supported by a group of healthcare providers — nurses, social workers and technicians — who are highly trained in both psychiatric disorders and medical conditions.

Care from Beginning to End

Our qualified professionals at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas work closely with patients and families to help maintain the patient’s progress and ensure safety after discharge. Whenever possible we assist the patient to return home, when this is not possible, an assisted living facility, nursing home, personal care home, or home health service may be suggested.
