Anesthesia Services
|
| Anesthesia providers also provide services for our Gastroenterology Endoscopy patients to help ensure an atraumatic experience with EGD and colonoscopy procedures. These endoscopy services are for patients having procedures to diagnose or treat gastric or colon problems. Our GI services also include, for patients that are candidates, treatment for hital hernia repair through the gastroscope rather than an open incision or laparoscopic procedure.
After the surgical or endoscopy procedure the patients require recovery from anesthesia. Patients are taken to the recovery room until they are awake and meet the recovery room requirements for discharge either to in house patient room or back to the day surgery unit. The anesthesia providers are available to our 5 key departments at all times if needed for support.
